FRODDO Awarded ‘Superbrand 2009’ status

Froddo has been awarded Croatia’s most coveted accolade of Superbrand for 2009. This is a reflection of their dedication to produce consistently high quality shoes.

The brand new Autumn Winter 2010 collection will be shown in Moda Footwear in NEC 21-22-23 February, stand FC20 Hall 19, and in Micam in Milan 02-05 March, stand E12 Hall 10.

We are now speedily approaching the build up to our first show of the year at the NEC in Birmingham. The Moda Footwear Show is taking place next weekend Sunday 15th until Tuesday 17th February. You can find us on Stand FL70, Hall 19.

So you are probably wondering what’s new about the FRODDO Autumn Winter 2009 collection....

We have a new trend of tartan in pink, purple, mulberry, black & white and new multicolour gemstone motifs featuring on the cute baby girl’s shoes.

We have gorgeous buckles cleverly incorporated into the styles this season, complementing one of Froddo’s characteristics of ‘worn look’ pink laces, together with easy fastening zips for children.

Also new are the range of cool girl’s white classic shoes and ankle boots which have created a new edge for this season. We are very excited to see how this new range is received by customers.

FRODDO maintains its characteristics such as the adorable thick stitching, mixed with hard wearing front rubber bumpers. Shoes are never scuffed again!

FRODDO is an Italian designed, Croatian made children’s shoe, catering for children’s sizes 17 to 40. For the past 60 years, Froddo shoes have been made to a very high standard by traditional craftsmen and the local community in Ivanec in Croatia. Top quality leather is sourced all over Europe to maintain the high quality you expect from FRODDO.

It has been a good start to the year with some Froddo publicity in the latest January editorial of JUNIOR Magazine. Junior acknowledges that our shoes stand up with the rest of the top brands. Froddo prides itself on focusing on great quality, great styles, and affordable prices. For those who have not come across Junior before, it is a stunningly presented magazine with beautiful photography. Here at Kids New Shoes we regard this prestigious magazine as a fantastic read for parents and very informative when it comes to new products and services for families.

Froddo’s designers have continued to push the boundaries in order to keep up with ever changing trends, while maintaining very high quality and sustainable comfort for children’s footwear. FRODDO in JUNIOR Magazine

On the 3^rd July 2008, the August issue of the National magazine JUNIOR, will be on sale in all WH Smiths and major M&S superstores. FRODDO will be appearing in this issue after receiving an encouraging response from consumers in the April issue.

FRODDO is an Italian designed, Croatian made Children’s shoe brand. The brand was launched in the UK at the NEC MODA Footwear show in February 2007, following their success on the continent with over 100 retail shops/outlets built on over 60 years experience in shoe making.

FRODDO has positioned at the top-end of the children’s shoe market, being famous for their high quality and durability. The brand offers everything from classic & sports shoes to funky boots, sandals, and school shoes. All shoes are made with the highest quality Italian leather and a super soft anatomically shaped footpad. Their front protective rubber design is very popular with mums and their children, so easy to clean and no more scuffed shoes! Sizes range from European size 17-40.

FRODDO will be the shoes to get all attention this summer!

Last month, FRODDO exhibited in two major trade shows, Moda Footwear in NEC, and Micam in Milan. We had a fantastic time! We received a lot of good and positive feedback from retailers who came to the Froddo stand and saw the new collection. It is full of lovely plum and pink with metallic gold & silver coloured leather and bright thick stitching on distress effect shades of leather in brown, green and navy. There is an exciting new range of styles for boy’s shoes, and ankle boots. The girl’s long riding boots are the ‘must have’ this season. The new range of school shoes is just classic and simple. There are lots of choices of very high quality, very hard wearing continental children’ shoes for everyone.

Look out for the new FRODDO children’s shoes advertisement in “Mother & Baby”, the No.1 pregnancy & baby magazine.

The brand new Autumn Winter 08 collection will be shown in the NEC the very first time, it’s really something special with a clever mixture of leather and stitching displaying wonderful autumn colours for the younger ones, and a retro taste for the older kids.

All shoes are leather upper and leather lined, with anatomic insoles to support children’s growing feet, making them light and comfortable.

Sizes range from 17 to 40.

A new range of school shoes and slippers will be available for this new season.
