Heritage
The Froddo brand of shoes, boots and slippers is the flagship product range manufactured by the Ivančica company in Croatia. Since 1946, the company has grown from a small group of shoemakers making miners’ footwear to a leading footwear manufacturer with over 1,000 employees making more than 5,000 pairs of shoes every day.
The Froddo Children’s Shoe Brand
Froddo was born in 1999 after a strategic decision and the company’s integration with the manufacturing facility for making ladies footwear. The name Froddo was inspired by the character in The Lord of the Rings.
Froddo is growing globally and you can find the brand in Austria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Slovakia, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, and USA.
Products which meet health and safety standards
We know parents want the best for their children and Froddo shoes are produced in an environmentally friendly way without using any harmful substances and compounds such as Chromium VI. All the materials used are sourced from trusted European suppliers. We use recycled materials for packaging, water based adhesives, and vegetable tanned leather.
Froddo shoes are anatomically designed based on the advice of paediatricians and orthopaedic professionals. Together with our designers the team creates shoes which are creative in design, provide the best fit & comfort, and are fun for children. In the UK and Ireland, the brand is recommended by podiatrists in private practices and hospitals.
